Malaysia Job Scams

Job Scams in Malaysia

Job scams usually come in the form of easy homebased jobs or work-at-home jobs. All the while, until now, these type of scams and frauds are advertised on newspaper classified ads sections. But with the advent of the internet, you can see this type of ads popping up on web classified ads sites and other reputable web sites -- and it seems that job scams now come even from abroad. Well, it's really borderless where scams are concerned.

As a jobseeker, you should always be aware that there are scammers and fraudsters waiting to take advantage at the slightest chance.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true -- then of course it's not true. Well, the bottom line is, if any prospective employer or organization asks for upfront payment, avoid it like the plaque!!! It's better to err on the safe side.

By the way, unlike other job sites or classified ads sites where any type of job ads are accepted, we actively scan and remove any free or paid job ads that do not meet our site's requirement.

We are not implying that all work-at-home job offers are scams. It's just a part of our effort to inform and educate the community on the need to be vigilant.

There are also many other types of internet based or non-internet based scams, such as SMS scams, lottery scams, lucky draw scams, Nigerian scams, scratch-and-win scams etc.

If you come across any such offer(from anywhere) or have any such experience, please let us know. We'd like to listen to your experience or opinions.
