Senior Data Engineer (Kuala Lumpur)

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse, Data Mart and Data Modelling. The ideal candidate should have experience working with enterprise databases such as DB2, Oracle or IBM Netezza and ETL tools such as IBM DataStage or SAP BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop, optimize and troubleshoot ETL processes.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into Data Warehouse/Data Mart environments.
• Perform data analysis, data modelling and solution design based on business requirements.
• Monitor data processes and resolve data quality/integration issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and processes.
• Follow development standards and recommend improvements.
• Manage assigned tasks, reporting and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience.
• Strong experience in ETL/ELT development.
• STrong Experience in Azure DataBricks
• Experience with IBM DataStage is preferred.
• Strong database experience with DB2, Oracle and/or IBM Netezza.
• Experience in Data Warehouse and Data Mart environments.
• Good knowledge of Data Modelling and Data Design.
• Exposure to SAP BI is an advantage.
• Good understanding of data analytics, data mining and ML concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
