Project Engineer - Construction (Kota Bharu)

IMMEDIATE HIRING – PROJECT ENGINEER

Millenium Glotech Resources (M) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an experienced and technically capable Project Engineer to join our construction team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a Project Engineer with genuine hands-on construction and site experience who can coordinate technical matters, monitor construction activities and work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors and site team.

The successful candidate should have a strong technical understanding, practical site experience and the ability to take responsibility for engineering and technical coordination throughout the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate engineering and technical activities at project sites.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate technical matters with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Coordinate site inspections, testing and technical submissions.
• Prepare technical reports, site documentation and progress updates.
• Attend site and technical meetings.
• Monitor quality and progress of construction works.
• Coordinate with Site Supervisors and other project team members.
• Assist the Project Manager in project coordination and delivery.
• Monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in coordinating consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on technical matters.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction/site experience.
• Practical hands-on construction experience is required.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of construction methods, processes and site coordination.
• Good technical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Willing to travel and work at different project sites according to project requirements.
• Experience in government / JKR projects is an advantage.
