Project Manager (Kota Bharu)

IMMEDIATE HIRING – PROJECT MANAGER

Millenium Glotech Resources (M) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an experienced, responsible and hands-on Project Manager to join our growing construction team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a proven construction professional who is capable of managing projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion, while coordinating project teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.

The successful candidate should have strong practical experience in construction project management and be able to take ownership of project delivery, programme, cost, quality and site coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, manage and oversee construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Manage overall project programme, progress, cost and quality.
• Lead and coordinate project and site teams.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion.
• Manage project resources, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential cost overruns.
• Manage variations, claims and project-related issues.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and project documentation.
• Attend client, consultant and project meetings.
• Coordinate and resolve technical, site and project-related issues.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and work progress.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and project requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to management.
• Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed programme, cost and quality requirements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Proven hands-on experience managing construction projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and project teams.
• Good understanding of project scheduling, costing, variations, claims and contract administration.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Able to identify problems and make practical decisions at project level.
• Able to work independently and take full responsibility for project delivery.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Willing to travel and work at different project sites according to project requirements.
• Experience in government / JKR projects is an advantage.

Candidates without proven construction project management experience are NOT encouraged to apply.
