Technical Team Lead - Front-End Focus (Petaling Jaya)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead with strong Front-End expertise in ReactJS and React Native to lead the technical direction of our web and mobile applications. You will focus primarily on building scalable, responsive and user-friendly front-end solutions, while contributing to Node.js back-end development, API integration, technical improvements and team development.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities:
• • Lead front-end development across the SDLC, including architecture, development, implementation and delivery.
• • Design and develop responsive, scalable and maintainable web applications, with strong attention to performance and user experience.
• • Establish and improve front-end frameworks, coding standards and development best practices.
• • Collaborate with back-end developers on API integration and end-to-end system functionality, with hands-on involvement in Node.js (JavaScript / TypeScript) back-end development where required.
• • Provide technical support to development teams and clients, including troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
• • Review and improve existing solutions to enhance quality, performance and maintainability.
• • Coach and mentor developers while keeping up with emerging front-end technologies and industry practices.

Requirements

• • 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience, with strong Front-End Development expertise in ReactJS and React Native.
• • Strong knowledge of ReactJS, React Native and modern front-end frameworks, responsive web development and UI/UX principles.
• • Working knowledge of Node.js, RESTful API integration and related back-end technologies.
• • Good understanding of software architecture, development standards and best practices; experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is an advantage.
• • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities while working effectively across teams and client environments.
• • Prior experience leading, mentoring or managing a development team.
• • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
