Company Overview
The company is a boutique advisory firm operating at the frontier of financial services, payments, and digital assets. It helps clients across Asia and China to secure overseas financial licences and acquire regulated entities, acting as their outsourced legal and compliance partner across multiple jurisdictions and regulators.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with clients on outstanding payments and maintain accurate payment records.
- Issue client invoices and coordinate payments to service providers.
- Maintain basic accounting records, payment logs, and supporting documentation.
- Track and manage corporate compliance matters, including annual return filings for company entities.
- Manage the company’s treasury activities
- Monitor subscription services, corporate email accounts, and software renewals, ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain records of important expiry dates and renewal deadlines.
- Organize and maintain company documents, records, and filing systems.
- Manage the company chop and document handling when required.
- Coordinate office supplies procurement and inventory.
- Arrange team lunch orders or other office-related arrangements when necessary.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the team.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
- Basic knowledge of invoicing, payment tracking, and accounting documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and office software (e.g., Lark).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to manage multiple administrative tasks.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SQL, or similar) is an added advantage.
- Experience supporting corporate compliance or regulatory filings is an added advantage.
- Comfortable working in a small team or startup environment is an added advantage.
- Tech subsidies will be provided (phone, laptop and AI tools)
- Languages: Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 7.30pm.
- Willing to work in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
