Company Overview
Our client is a diversified Malaysian company operating across multiple business divisions, including an Estate Plantation division.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare payments, monitor bank accounts' transactions, reconciliations, etc.
- Ensure accurate transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
- Prepare monthly closing of accounts including GL journal entries.
- Maintain accounting records and filing as per standard procedures and requirements.
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents on annual statutory audits, preparation of tax computations and returns.
- To perform all aspects of company secretarial duties and functions and to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements, regulations and guidelines.
- Other duties assigned as required.
Requirements:
- Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience.
- Basic accounting and tax compliance knowledge.
- Knowledge in UBS Accounting.
- Ability to work independently and diligently with good analytical skills.
- Good working attitude, interpersonal skills and team player.
- Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage).
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
- Willing to work in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam, Selangor.
- Willing to travel (1-2 times a year, to Pahang).
