Job Description

Company Overview

Our client is a diversified Malaysian company operating across multiple business divisions, including an Estate Plantation division.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare payments, monitor bank accounts' transactions, reconciliations, etc.
  • Ensure accurate transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
  • Prepare monthly closing of accounts including GL journal entries.
  • Maintain accounting records and filing as per standard procedures and requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agents on annual statutory audits, preparation of tax computations and returns.
  • To perform all aspects of company secretarial duties and functions and to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements, regulations and guidelines.
  • Other duties assigned as required.

Requirements:

  • Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience.
  • Basic accounting and tax compliance knowledge.
  • Knowledge in UBS Accounting.
  • Ability to work independently and diligently with good analytical skills.
  • Good working attitude, interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage).
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
  • Willing to work in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam, Selangor.
  • Willing to travel (1-2 times a year, to Pahang).
