Senior Structural Design Lead (Klang)

POSITION - SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN LEAD

LOCATION - KOTA BAYUEMAS, KLANG

SALARY - RM 6000-8000

1. Design & Technical Leadership

• Lead design coordination for steel, RC, and infrastructure works
• Translate design intent into practical, buildable solutions
• Resolve design conflicts and site constraints

2. Drafting & Detailing Oversight

Review and produce:

• Steel shop drawings & connection details
• RC detailing & BBS
• Infrastructure drawings
• Ensure all drawings are accurate and site-ready

3. Coordination & Execution

• Work with engineers, site team, fabrication yard & procurement
• Ensure smooth flow from design → fabrication
• Solve site and technical issues independently
• installation

4. Team Leadership

• Guide and manage junior draftspersons
• Review and approve drawings before submission

5. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with MS/BS/Eurocode
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control

6. Project Ownership

• Take full responsibility for accuracy, coordination, and delivery

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• 7-10 years' experience in steel & RC Experience in infrastructure works Technical Skills (Mandatory) AutoCAD (Advanced) Autodesk Advance Steel (Must)
• Able to read structural drawings & calculations
