The company, from humble beginnings in 1985 as a small stall in a morning market, has grown into a fresh produce importer and retailer, operating a wholesale market in Klang Valley with a diverse range of products.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Manage stock levels, coordinate with central buyers, and oversee inventory.
- Ensure excellent customer service and address customer concerns.
- Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements for promotions.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise and train staff to uphold productivity and service standards.
- Handle cash flow management and daily financial reporting.
- Work with management to align store goals with financial targets.
- Oversee building and equipment maintenance, ensuring timely repairs and servicing.
- Ensure all business licenses are renewed on time and properly displayed.
- Liaise with authorities during store inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in Retail Supermarket, Wholesale, or Trade industry.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience in safe food handling within a grocery store environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Good attitude with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
- Willing to work in Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
- Work schedule: 6 days a week, 12 hours shift.
