We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Company Secretary (Assistant-Senior / Senior) to join our team. If you're seeking a challenge and a broad experience in corporate affairs, search no more!

What You Will Be Accountable For

  • Review or prepare resolutions, minutes, statutory forms, announcements, submission of statutory documents, etc.
  • Attend Board meetings, Annual General Meetings, Extraordinary General Meetings, any other relevant client meetings as may be required
  • Monitor and comply with submission deadlines
  • Maintain and update the statutory books and other records in compliance with the Companies Act 2016 
  • Advise on the Companies Act 2016, the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Listing Requirements and best practices in corporate governance
  • Keep abreast with the developments in corporate law, relevant regulations and best corporate governance practices
  • Assist in collection of receivables from clients
  • Guide and supervise subordinates
  •  Assist Company Secretary to handle the secretarial work of public listed companies and private limited companies, such as incorporation, corporate restructuring, drafting circular/ annual report, transfer/ transmission of shares, change in corporate/directors’ details and etc.

Requirements:

  • CGI (ICSA) qualification or currently pursuing CGQP (ICSA) programme
  • Experience of at least 2 years in corporate secretarial field 
  • Have knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 and be keen to learn up the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Listing Requirements and Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (existing knowledge and experience will be an added advantage)
  • Good written and verbal English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills
  • Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency and with enthusiastic personality in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous, good team player and has strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
