Job Description

Company Overview

Our client is a leading Malaysian manufacturer and a key player in the global food supply chain, specializing in innovative and sustainable fiber-based packaging solutions. With state-of-the-art facilities and a strong focus on high-hygiene standards, they serve major international brands across the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and consumer goods sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all QA inspections are carried out effectively and the inspections are properly and accurately documented.
  • Ensure all QA tools (FMS, JD, Colour Folders, myJars) are always available at all machines.
  • Ensure all the required product and process testing is carried out to verify that good quality and safe products are consistently being produced and final batch testing are conducted on every batch and report any deviations identified during testing.
  • Ensure that all non-conformities identified during the production run are accurately updated using Daily In-Process Quality Assurance Summary within the same shift by all team members.
  • Lead investigations related to in-process issues and customer complaints and ensure that all findings are documented with an ICAR within the prescribed timeframe.
  • Ensure that final batch testing is conducted on every batch and report any deviations identified during testing.
  • Ensure GMP and Glass Register inspections are conducted on a weekly basis and findings are closed on a timely manner.
  • Ensure ICARs are raised within 24 hours from incident.
  • Ensure that all queried items are actioned within 24 hours.
  • Complete and accurate trial run reports are shared within 3 working days after trial run and complete product validation reports are shared within 5 working days from date of trial run.
  • Ensure that all MSF raised are closed within a week with all required test reports.
  • Conduct inspections on incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods.
  • To effectively carry out and ensure 100% traceability for each production batch with the complete check sheets and retention samples within the prescribed time frames.
  • Ensure retention samples are collected and efficiently stored which enables for retrieval of samples within 15 minutes.
  • Ensure all the requirements of the Company’s QMS Standards (including GMP Audit, Glass Register inspections) and Food Safety standards are effectively implemented and adhered to.
  • To ensure all the requirements of BRC Standards and SWA Standards and company’s Health and Safety standards are effectively implemented and adhered to.
  • To comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations and take all necessary precautions to ensure product safety and quality is never compromised in the course of carrying out all your duties and tasks.
  • To ensure all the requirements of the Company’s Health and Safety standards are effectively implemented and adhered to.
  • Carrying out all other related tasks as may be required or assigned by your Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related role.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BRC Standards, and food safety requirements.
  • Familiar with QMS documentation and audit procedures.
  • Good attention to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 12-hour shift basis.
  • Willing to work in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang.
