Company Overview

Our client is a leading Malaysian manufacturer and a key player in the global food supply chain, specializing in innovative and sustainable fiber-based packaging solutions. With state-of-the-art facilities and a strong focus on high-hygiene standards, they serve major international brands across the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and consumer goods sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that planning is done to optimise production uptime and cycle time as well as material and recourse utilisation so as to enhance and improve the plant and production efficiency;
  • To monitor the production processes and support the Plant Manager with schedule adjustments when necessary and ensuring that the production schedule is adhere to and that products are produced efficiently, with appropriate resources, at the right quality and in the most cost effective manner;
  • To ensure the timely issuance of accurate job dockets (before production) and production orders to enable all related departments to have adequate time and the right information for material, resource and toolings planning and procurement;
  • To ensure job dockets are issued in advance of every job that is being run, so as to ensure there is no reason for a single process to operate without a job docket;
  • To ensure job dockets are accurately and fully completed by the respective production department so that PRO’s are completed in a timely and accurate manner;
  • To generate daily, weekly and monthly reports/analysis pertaining to production output, quality issues, process loss and yield, machine downtime and breakdown, and production 5S and GMP;
  • To ensure that Production Orders are closed accurately and on a timely basis on the LN ERP System;
  • To effectively schedule all new product trials as well as first mass production so that all relevant resources are available to ensure that new developments are successfully launched to the market within the provided lead times;
  • To work with the team and take all relevant measures necessary to achieve a daily DIFOT Score of 100% as well as the relevant preventive action that is necessary where the score cannot be achieved whilst supporting with urgent schedules alterations to meet urgent customer requests and to avoid any delays resulting from unforeseen conditions;
  • To ensure meeting minutes are prepared after every daily production as well as operations meetings;
  • To comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations, and take all necessary precautions to ensure product safety and quality is never compromised in the course of carrying out all your duties and tasks;
  • Analysing processes and implementing measures which will effect continuous improvements to efficiencies and product quality, in accordance with the Company’s Quality & Food Safety Policy as well as our Manufacturing Philosophy; and
  • Carrying out all other related tasks as may be required or assigned by your Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or a related role.
  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., LN ERP, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate and interpret production reports, including DIFOT, yield, and downtime data.
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm.
  • Willing to work in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang.
