Business Development Junior Executive (Pandamaran)

Company Overview

The company is a well-known Malaysian manufacturer that has been a leader in the plastic packaging industry since 1977. Based in a large facility in Port Klang, it produces a huge volume of everyday items like shopping bags and garbage bags for both local supermarkets and overseas markets.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
• Execute lead generation strategies and perform cold calling to prospective clients.
• Assist the senior Business Development team with the preparation of presentations and quotations.
• Responsible for reviewing and ensuring that the specifications of the export / domestic sales are in accordance to the sales contract.
• Keep track with the current production status so to ensure the timely delivery.
• Liaise with forwarding / shipping agent or transporter to ensure all import / shipment / local delivery documents are properly planned & executed.
• Prepare all necessary shipping documents for custom-use purposes and for local delivery based on company’s procedures.
• Apply custom rebate.
• Work closely with production & warehouse to update inventory system.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Min SPM and 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Open to highly motivated fresh graduates with a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Good personality, able to communicate with all levels of personnel and good co-operation.
• Able to work independent and good personality.
• Must be computer literate.
• Good written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented, good interpersonal skills, and eager to learn the B2B sales cycle.
• Possess own transport is preferred.
• Languages:Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm; Saturday 8.00pm to 12.00pm
• Location:Ability to work on-site in Pandamaran, Port Klang.
