Role Summary

This position offers a unique opportunity to drive the growth and impact of company’s portfolio in fertility, expanding access to care for patients across Malaysia. As a key member of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate product performance and strengthen brand presence. You will work closely with sales, medical, and cross-functional partners to deliver campaigns that build meaningful connections with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. Your ability to analyse market trends and interpret sales data will ensure that every initiative is guided by timely insights and evidence-based decision-making. Success in this role requires agility, creativity, and resilience—adapting plans to the evolving healthcare landscape while consistently championing innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing & Branding

• Lead the design and execution of brand strategies and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.

• Drive integrated campaigns, promotional activities, and visibility across key channels, ensuring a balanced marketing mix.

• Deliver initiatives that achieve sales and market share targets while strengthening brand equity.

• Monitor product performance, market trends, and competitor activity to generate actionable insights.

• Develop compelling content for PR, conferences, and media engagement to position the brand at the forefront of the industry.

• Ensure accountability for brand sales, market share, and marketing expenditure.

2. Market Analysis

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor strategies, and growth opportunities.

• Analyse sales data and market intelligence to highlight risks and opportunities.

• Provide regular reports and presentations on product performance and strategic insights to guide decision-making.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and sustain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.

• Champion stakeholder engagement strategies to reinforce brand equity and accelerate market access.

• Collaborate with multi-stakeholder groups to expand reach and strengthen product positioning.

4. Sales Excellence Partnership

• Align marketing strategies with sales execution to maximize impact. •

Develop effective promotional tools, product presentations, and campaign materials for field use.

• Deliver product training to enhance sales team knowledge and execution quality.

• Partner with sales teams to organise meetings, briefings, and events that drive commercial objectives.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with regulatory, supply chain, commercial excellence, finance, and medical affairs to ensure seamless operations.

• Work closely with head office stakeholders to align global and local priorities under a “One Team, One Brand” approach.

• Support compliance and regulatory requirements across all marketing activities.

6. Sales & Operations Planning

• Manage portfolio planning, forecasting, and inventory monitoring to ensure sustainable product access.

• Drive forecast accuracy and operational discipline.

• Lead new product launches and lifecycle strategies to maximize portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline. A postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

• Experience:

o Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in brand management & product marketing within pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or consumer healthcare.

o Proven track record in leading brand strategy, market expansion, and portfolio growth.

o Experience in managing cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

• Leadership & Strategic Skills:

o Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term brand strategies.

o Strong commercial acumen with experience in brand P&L ownership, forecasting, and lifecycle management.

o Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse groups.

• Analytical & Innovation Skills:

o Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with expertise in leveraging market intelligence and sales data to drive decision-making.

o Ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies to evolving dynamics.

• Communication & Collaboration:

o Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with experience in engaging senior leadership and external stakeholders.

o Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, medical affairs, regulatory, supply chain, and finance.

• Technical Proficiency:

o Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

o Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and fluency in emerging AI tools is an added advantage.
