Senior Finance Executive (Bandar Bukit Puchong)

Company Overview

The company is a total packaging solutions provider in Malaysia. The company’s products include Corrugated Packaging Product, Protective Packaging Products, Paper Pallets, Plastic Packaging Products, Foam-Based Packaging Products, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly group consolidation and prepare quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare board papers, management reporting, and disclosures for Annual and Sustainability Reports.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, as well as corporate advisors, for compliance and filing.
• Conduct financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
• Track operational performance through margin analysis, cost optimization, and financial insight reporting for senior management.
• Oversee credit risk management, AR monitoring, and cash flow analysis to ensure financial stability.
• Support financial analysis and evaluation of capital expenditure, investment returns, and new business initiatives.
• Assist in expansion planning and potential M&A assessments at the Group level.
• Drive process standardization and strengthen internal controls across all subsidiaries.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA / CA / CPA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of related experience; a background in Audit or Big 4 is a strong advantage.
• Strong technical grounding in financial reporting standards and listed company regulatory requirements.
• Analytical and commercially aware with a growth-driven mindset and ability to take ownership.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel for modelling.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.)
• Willing to work in Bandar Bukit Puchong, Puchong.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm.
