Assistant Brand Manager/Brand Manager (Commercial Growth & Retail Strategy)

Built on a foundation of time-tested and scientifically studied botanical ingredients like Laurel Berry Oil and Argan Oil, the company is rapidly expanding its footprint across retail pharmacies, digital platforms, and experiential kiosks to serve beauty-conscious consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning: Own and refine the brand’s communication framework and messaging hierarchy to ensure consistency across packaging, digital assets, and retail visuals.
  • 360° Demand Generation: Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and on-ground channels to increase brand awareness, consideration, and conversion.
  • Retail & Experiential Marketing: Champion retail kiosk setups, merchandising concepts, and in-store activations (e.g., Watsons Malaysia, pharmacies) to ensure brand standout on-shelf.
  • Digital & Performance Oversight: Manage paid media strategies, social media campaigns, and e-commerce initiatives on platforms like TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada.
  • Revenue & P&L Ownership: Co-own revenue targets with the Sales team, tracking sell-in/sell-out performance and forecasting campaign ROI to optimize profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead new product go-to-market strategies and collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales to ensure seamless product launches and stock availability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with creative agencies, designers, and production partners while mentoring junior marketing team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degreein Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years’ experienceas a Brand Manager or Assistant Brand Manager, preferably in FMCG, Skincare, or Beauty.
  • Demonstrated successin executing 360° marketing campaigns and managing retail/pharmacy marketing channels.
  • Strong understandingof the Malaysian retail landscape and digital e-commerce ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with NPRAguidelines for cosmetic advertising and labelling is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skillsto manage internal stakeholders and external partners effectively.
  • Languages:Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
  • Location:Ability to work on-site in SS15, Subang Jaya.
