QAQC Executive - Plastic Packaging Manufacturer (Pandamaran)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive quality reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Handle NCR & CAPA (Non-Conformance Reports & Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes effectively.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement robust corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions related to quality control and assurance activities.
• Participate in and support internal and external audits as required.
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in QA / Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a QAQC professional in a relevant industry.
• Knowledge of Quality standards, Plastic quality specs, and 7 QC Tools.
• Proficiency in Inspection/testing, Report writing, and NCR & CAPA handling.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and deviations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use software applications related to quality control and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working Hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm / Sat 8.00 to 1.00pm (Production) 5.5 days; required to work night shifts (1 week night shift rotation).
• Willing to work in Pandamaran, Port Klang.
