Hair Transplant Technician (Bukit Jalil)

Position Summary
The Hair Transplant Technician supports doctors during hair restoration procedures by assisting in graft extraction, preparation, implantation support, and patient care. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Assist doctors during FUE/FUT hair transplant procedures
• Prepare donor and recipient areas as instructed
• Handle, sort, count, and preserve hair grafts under microscope
• Assist with graft loading and implantation support
• Monitor patient comfort and condition throughout the procedure

Pre- & Post-Procedure Care

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and sterile fields
• Clean and dress donor and recipient areas post-procedure
• Provide clear post-transplant aftercare instructions to patients
• Assist with PRP or adjunct treatments when required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Equipment & Hygiene

• Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols
• Manage consumables and report stock requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of procedure rooms

Professional & Teamwork

• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and clinic staff
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct
• Follow clinic SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in training and skill development

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate or training in Hair Transplant / Aesthetic Procedures (preferred)
• Prior experience in hair transplant or surgical assisting is an advantage
• Strong hand–eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work long procedures and remain focused
• Good communication skills and patient-centered attitude

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of FUE/FUT techniques (preferred)
• Understanding of graft handling and preservation
• High standard of hygiene and safety awareness
