Responsibilities:
- Provide direct staff supervision and leadership to all Line Leaders and Production Operators across the assigned shift, ensuring optimal productivity and discipline.
- Oversee the daily execution of the production systems and schedule, ensuring output meets quality specifications and timely delivery targets.
- Monitor key Operational KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), efficiency, scrap rate, and downtime, and take immediate corrective action when deviations occur.
- Implement and manage process control measures to maintain stable manufacturing parameters, leveraging knowledge of the Injection/Blowing process.
- Lead the team in continuous improvement activities to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly reporting & planning documents on production performance, personnel issues, and maintenance requirements.
- Act as a primary decision-maker on the floor regarding immediate production issues, resource allocation, and minor personnel conflicts.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP if relevant), and housekeeping policies (5S).
- Conduct on-the-job training for new staff and performance reviews for existing team members.
Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or senior leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge of Production systems and workflow management.
- Solid understanding of the Injection/blowing process (or relevant plastic manufacturing techniques).
- Excellent Staff supervision and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in Reporting & planning using production metrics and basic computer software (e.g., Excel).
- Must be able to work shifts, including day and night shifts, as per company requirements.
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Working Hours: 2 Shifts (Day/Night), 7.00am to 7.00pm, 6-day workweek.
- Willing to work in Pandamaran, Selangor.
