Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of Production Operators on the designated production line to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor the production flow and process parameters to ensure output meets daily targets and quality standards.
- Operate and oversee the setup, running, and minor adjustments of production line machinery (Knowledge of plastic blowing/injection processes is an added advantage).
- Conduct shift handling and handover procedures effectively, communicating all relevant production and safety information.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality control guidelines.
- Maintain accurate production records, downtime reports, and quality checks throughout the shift.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the team, providing guidance and fostering good team coordination.
- Identify and report any major equipment malfunctions or quality deviations to the Production Supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Manufacturing/Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or leading role.
- Basic knowledge of production flow and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with safety practices in a factory setting.
- Knowledge of plastic blowing/injection processes is a strong added advantage.
- Effective shift handling and organizational skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Must be able to work shifts, including day and night shifts, as per company requirements.
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Working Hours: 2 Shifts (Day/Night), 7.00am to 7.00pm, 6-day workweek.
- Willing to work in Pandamaran, Selangor.
