Production Line Leader (Pandamaran)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of Production Operators on the designated production line to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor the production flow and process parameters to ensure output meets daily targets and quality standards.
• Operate and oversee the setup, running, and minor adjustments of production line machinery (Knowledge of plastic blowing/injection processes is an added advantage).
• Conduct shift handling and handover procedures effectively, communicating all relevant production and safety information.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate production records, downtime reports, and quality checks throughout the shift.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the team, providing guidance and fostering good team coordination.
• Identify and report any major equipment malfunctions or quality deviations to the Production Supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Manufacturing/Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or leading role.
• Basic knowledge of production flow and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with safety practices in a factory setting.
• Knowledge of plastic blowing/injection processes is a strong added advantage.
• Effective shift handling and organizational skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Must be able to work shifts, including day and night shifts, as per company requirements.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Working Hours: 2 Shifts (Day/Night), 7.00am to 7.00pm, 6-day workweek.
• Willing to work in Pandamaran, Selangor.
