Responsibilities:

  • Perform setup, operation, and optimization of Extrusion and/or Stretch Blow Molding Machines for plastic packaging production.
  • Execute routine and preventive maintenance (PM) on blow molds, die heads, extruders, and heating elements.
  • Conduct systematic machine troubleshooting to quickly diagnose and repair faults related to cooling, air systems, and mechanical components unique to blowing processes.
  • Monitor and adjust plastic process parameters (e.g., parison drop, blow pressure, material melt temperature) to ensure proper bottle wall thickness and consistent shape.
  • Manage mold changeovers, including alignment and connection of air/water lines, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine performance, process adjustments, and maintenance logbooks.
  • Collaborate with the Production team to address quality issues specific to blown products.
  • Ensure all work adheres to company quality standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Technician specializing in Plastic Blowing.
  • Strong understanding of Blowing machine functions (Extrusion/Stretch Blow) and operation principles.
  • Knowledge of Blowing mold maintenance and repair.
  • Expertise in setting and adjusting Blowing plastic process parameters.
  • Must be able to work shifts, including day and night shifts, as per company requirements.
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Working Hours: 2 Shifts (Day/Night), 7.00am to 7.00pm, 6-day workweek.
  • Willing to work in Pandamaran, Selangor.
