Responsibilities:
- Perform setup, operation, and optimization of Injection Molding Machines and related auxiliary equipment.
- Execute routine and preventive maintenance (PM) on injection molds, ensuring proper functioning and surface quality.
- Conduct systematic machine troubleshooting to quickly diagnose and repair faults related to hydraulics, electrical systems, and machine mechanics.
- Fine-tune plastic process parameters (e.g., injection speed, holding pressure, temperature profile) to maintain product quality and minimize cycle time.
- Manage mold changeovers, performing essential mold preparation and minor repairs to ensure quick turnover and efficient production.
- Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance history, process adjustments, and spare parts inventory.
- Work collaboratively with QC and Production teams to resolve defect issues caused by process or machine instability.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, especially during mold handling and machine maintenance.
Requirements:
- Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Technician specializing in Injection Molding.
- Strong understanding of Injection molding machine functions and operation principles.
- In-depth knowledge of Injection mold maintenance and repair.
- Expertise in setting and adjusting Injection plastic process parameters.
- Familiarity with electrical/mechanical systems in injection machines.
- Must be able to work shifts, including day and night shifts, as per company requirements.
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Working Hours: 2 Shifts (Day/Night), 7.00am to 7.00pm, 6-day workweek.
- Willing to work in Pandamaran, Selangor.
