Responsibilities:-
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Duties
- Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE laws, regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents and near misses; recommend corrective actions
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and emergency response plans
- Monitor and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Promote a proactive HSE culture throughout the organization
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on HSE and maintain incident logs, audit records, training logs and compliance documentation
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors and internal departments on HSE matters
2. ISO System Implementation & Compliance
- Implement, monitor, and maintain the company's ISO management systems (ISO 37001:2016)
- Ensure all ISO-related documentation is maintained, updated and controlled
- Conduct internal ISO audits and assist in external audits by certification bodies
- Assist in preparing management review meetings and performance reports
- Facilities continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, environment, and safety
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on HSE and ISO performance indicators
- Maintain incident logs, audit records, training logs, and compliance documentation
Qualification:
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Science or Engineering discipline, Quality Management (for ISO- related roles) or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience
