Mall Cleaner (Kota Samarahan)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Mall Cleaner to join our team at The Summer Shopping Mall Management Sdn Bhd in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. This full-time role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our busy shopping mall, ensuring a pleasant experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Cleaning and sanitising all public areas of the mall, including floors, walls, windows, and restrooms
2. Emptying and maintaining waste and recycling bins throughout the mall
3. Assisting with setting up and packing down for events and promotions
4. Reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the management team
5. Adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures
6. Collaborating with the wider cleaning team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a cleaning or custodial role, preferably in a retail or commercial environment
2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
3. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
4. Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
5. Excellent time management and organisational skills
6. Proficiency in spoken and written Malay
