Senior Accounts Executive (Tabuan Laru)

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team at The Summer Shopping Mall Management Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting, playing a crucial part in the success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Generating financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights and support decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Providing support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments as needed
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree with Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar senior accounts executive role, preferably in the retail or real estate industry
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Relevant professional qualifications are highly desirable
