JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Greeting Customers: Welcome customers as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
Taking Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the system.
Serving Food and Drinks: Deliver orders to the table in a timely and professional manner.
Customer Assistance: Provide recommendations, answer questions about the menu, and cater to special requests.
Table Maintenance: Regularly check on customers and ensure that their dining experience is satisfactory.
Cleanliness: Keep the dining area clean and tidy, including setting up and clearing tables.
Handling Payments: Process payments accurately, whether by cash or QR code.
Team Support: Assist other staff members during busy times and cooperate with the kitchen team.
Problem-Solving: Address any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, as well as the restaurant’s operational procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) required.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
Customer Service: Strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
Appearance: Presentable and well-groomed.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and drinks.
Languages: Proficiency in English, Malay, and/or Mandarin/ Tamil is an advantage.
