Physiotherapist Assistant/Physiotherapist (Kuala Lumpur)

The role of the Physiotherapy Assistant is to assist the Physiotherapist in the implementation of the treatment programmed as determined by the Physiotherapist. The role involves collaborating with the Physiotherapist, while demonstrating a knowledge of the practice of the Physiotherapist and the role of the Physiotherapy Assistant. The Physiotherapy Assistant will understand and demonstrate skills required to support the patient in all aspects of the physiotherapy intervention, on a background of being familiar with human anatomy and physiology (with emphasis on the musculoskeletal system) and being familiar with common medical conditions and their clinical features.

Accountabilities:

1. Making assessments of patients’ physical conditions.
2. Formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients.
3. Planning and organizing physiotherapy and fitness programmed.

Requirements

1. Candidates must possess at least Diploma in Physical Therapy/Physiotherapy or equivalent.
2. Team player with cheerful and vibrant attitude.
3. Patience in providing customer care.
4. Professional attitude towards work.
