Kitchen Crew - Full/Part Time (Ipoh)

Kitchen staff required for NON-HALAL, PORK FREE restaurant

Job Overview

• Assist chefs and other kitchen staff in food preparation tasks such as, chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients including garnishing & plating dishes as directed;
• Assist with cooking and grilling when necessary.  Maintain a clean & organized kitchen workspace at all times in adhering to food safety & quality standard.

Requirement:

• Academic qualifications not required, though candidate with culinary training or relevant qualification is a plus.
• Prior experience working in a kitchen with some basic cooking skill/knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment. Report any kitchen equipment maintenance or repair needs.
• Willingness to learn and take directions from kitchen management with strong sense of teamwork.
