Kitchen staff required for NON-HALAL, PORK FREE restaurant
Job Overview
- Assist chefs and other kitchen staff in food preparation tasks such as, chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients including garnishing & plating dishes as directed;
- Assist with cooking and grilling when necessary. Maintain a clean & organized kitchen workspace at all times in adhering to food safety & quality standard.
Requirement:
- Academic qualifications not required, though candidate with culinary training or relevant qualification is a plus.
- Prior experience working in a kitchen with some basic cooking skill/knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment. Report any kitchen equipment maintenance or repair needs.
- Willingness to learn and take directions from kitchen management with strong sense of teamwork.
