Barista (Langkawi)

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Make recommendations based on customer preferences and menu offerings.
• Provide product knowledge and answer customer inquiries.
• Ensure prompt and courteous service to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, mocktail and etc.
• Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and other machinery.
• Ensure accurate measurement of ingredients for consistent taste and quality.
• Master the art of milk steaming and latte art to create visually appealing beverages.
• Follow standardized recipes and beverage presentation guidelines.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, e-wallet, cards, and process customer payments accurately.
• Keep the cafe area clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
• Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and equipment regularly.
• Monitor supplies, such as cups, napkins, and condiments.
• Empty trash and ensure proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping the floor.
• Order Taking and Food Preparation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year working barista experience
• Ability to operate coffee brewing equipment and cash registers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to speak in English / Bahasa Malay.
