INSPECTOR OF WORK (IOW)

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least Diploma in Civil Engineering / Building / Building Surveyor / or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years  working experience in Structure & Infrastructure works and 5 years in Structure Marine related works).
• Applicants must be willing to work at project site located at Lumut, Perak.
• Must be registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM),
• Possess with valid CIDB Green Card
• Contract length: 20 months
• Good working knowledge related to construction Marine Construction work . Highly dedicated, good interpersonal/communication skill, responsible and team-focused.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• The person requires performing site supervision and coordination to ensure that the works carried out by the Contractors are within quality standards and correcting specification.
• To interpret construction drawings and coordinate construction drawings between consultants and contractors.
• To monitor the construction work schedule. To ensure works comply to construction drawings, specifications and completed within the scheduled timeframe.
• To ensure all materials delivered to site and constructed/installed conform to the approved specifications and the project’s Inspection Test Plan.
• To participate in testing and inspection of materials delivered to site and during installation.
• To participate in technical and client consultant meetings, or any other meetings which find appropriate.
• Ensure work carried out and materials delivered to site are in accordance with specifications and accordance into project consultants
• Ensure workmanship and Quality Standard set are achieve
• Attend site meetings with consultants and contractors
• Check progress, materials on site and related items
• Issue site memo, non-conformance report and documentation for all related paper works
• Any other issues assigned from time to time.
