Job Description

REQUIREMENT

  • Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years  working experience in Structure & Infrastructure works and 5 years in Structure Marine related works).
  • Applicants must be willing to work at project site located at Lumut, Perak.
  • Must be registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM),
  • Possess with valid CIDB Green Card
  • Contract length: 20 months
  • Good working knowledge related to Marine construction work. Highly dedicated, good interpersonal/communication skill, responsible and team-focused

Job Responsibilities

  • To be the Civil and Structural Engineer’s Representative on site and provide all necessary liaison between the design office and the site.
  • To report to the Project Director of Arsea Consulting Engineers  Sdn. Bhd. on site Civil and Structural matters.
  • To discharge duty diligently and to lead the Civil & Structural team on site to ensure that supervision of Civil and Structural site works conform to design intent, specifications and drawings.
  • To ensure instructions and directions from time to time related to Civil and Structural works are carried out by Contractor properly and timely in conformity with the Contract.
  • To ensure Civil and Structural site works are carried out in accordance to the approved Method Statements
  • To ensure Civil and Structural site works are carried out with good engineering an construction practice.
  • To ensure Civil and Structural site works are always carried out by Contractor with adequate safety.
  • To track and record day to day site progress of Civil and Structural works, to verify progress of works and activities reported in Contractor’s weekly and monthly progress reports and to advise the project team accordingly.
  •  To attend all site meetings and any other meetings related to Civil and Structural site works.
  • To co-ordinate Civil and Structural site works with other works of project team to ensure timely progress.
  • To assist in reviewing shop drawing related to Civil and Structural site works.
  • To plan and implement day-to-day supervision activities of the Civil and Structural team.
