Renal Nurse (Siburan)

Pusat Hemodialisis Nefro Bakti, Siburan Square, Jalan Kuching-Serian, Sarawak

• Diploma in Nursing or relevant qualifications, eg. Post Basic in Nephrology/Renal
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Has renewed a valid Annual Practicing Certificate
• Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board
• Has knowledge in cannulation, phlebotomy and in dialysis
• Independent and requires minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• If without nursing certificate, can apply as nursing assistant

Job scope

• To conduct nursing activities related to patients and dialysis care.
• Perform routine dialysis procedures: Cannulating, initiating and discontinuing dialysis.
• Assist in checking patient’s vital signs and communicate to assess their conditions.
• Perform venipuncture on arterio-venous fistula/graft.
• Maintain effective communication and professional relationship with patients, families and other staffs.
• Proactive and able to handle any clinical situations
