Sonographer (Johor Bahru)

• To carry out sonographic examinations including abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, breast, scrotum & Duplex scan (Carotid Doppler, DVT scan), obstetrics 1st trimester, detailed scan, 4d5d scan. 
• Prepare preliminary reports and contacts referring medical doctor when required.
• Prepare the exam room and ultrasound equipment according to safety and sterilisation standards.
• Review the patient’s medical record to ensure that the required images are clear prior to the appointment.
• Utilize positioning tools and safety equipment as directed to guarantee patient security and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Assist in ultrasound training courses & participate in continuing education programmes and seek to increase knowledge and expertise in the field.
• Able to use ethical judgments and critical reasoning abilities to safely execute diagnostic imaging.
• To ensure that all imaging equipment is in proper working condition.
• To undertake other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
• Willing to travel to other branches when required
• Positive attitude and friendly
• Competent and completed more than 500 scans

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess Diploma or Degree or PGDMU recognised by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
• Proficient in utilizing computer software commonly used for documentation and sonographic report presentation
• Proficient in troubleshooting common software and hardware challenges in relation to the regular use of an ultrasound machine
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
