Radiographer (Johor Bahru)

JOB SUMMARY:

1. Coordinating the patient flow within the department to ensure smooth workflow and workloads as well as the transition of patient from Imaging Department to other departments.
2. To ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performing all radiographic procedures (Mammogram & X-Rays) and to ensure that maximum quality of radiographs are produced.
2. Ensure that all Imaging procedures (U/S, MMG, X-Ray) are reported and saved in the system for future reference.
3. To ensure that the correct film/ report are despatched to the correct patient/ department/ other clinic.
4. Assisting in preparation of patient (for U/S), setting up of appointments and typing of reports.
5. To ensure that all documentations are accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner.
6. To maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the department.
7. To record the number of patients and cases in Imaging Revenue.
8. To report any incident/machine breakdown to respective vendors and to ensure that they are attended immediately.
9. Maintain required knowledge of equipment operations in the department that enables sole practise. This includes of basic troubles shooting of basic equipment failure and error.
10. To give full co-operation to other staff and assisting them whenever required.
11. Addressing patient complaints (if any).
12. Attending CME courses/ training as per required by the Ministry of Health (MOH) or AAA.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Diploma In Medical Imaging.
2. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Able to converse, read and write in English.
