Job Description

Merchandising Manager [Merchandiser | High Brand Retail Shop] Cheras~

Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise OTB planning & buying
  • Negotiate product cost to ensure competitive product cost.
  • Follow up with supplier ensure the merchandise delivery on time by monthly basis
  • Project future buys by analyze past sales data and sell through rates.
  • Planning on forecast order and sales forecast periodically
  • Determine the retail price to ensure optimum sales & profits level
  • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes or clear outs in order to maximize profit and to ensure optimal sell through rates.
  • Control stocks flow including ensuring quality and timely stock arrival.
  • Monitor and managing stock allocations to outlets and interpret sales forecast.
  • Merchandiser planning for all new stock arrival to stores based on their sales volume, specific market need, location, spending power and seasonal buying pattern
  • Manage inventory levels by planning new buying and replenishment.
  • Monitor aged stocks and moved to clearance category
  • Ensure optimal amount of merchandise mix in stores prior to product launch and sell out to achieve set sales target
  • Analyze sales performance including preparing reports and presentations in order to maximize sales opportunity
  • Monitor and review product margin and do adjustment to maximize revenue

Requirements:

  • For Merchandising, 2 key criteria, has to have experience in planning open-to-buy (OTB) budget and experience in buying bags and accessories.
  • Thus, most likely has to be from fashion industry.
