Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create and roll-out a public relations plan which supports local, regional and global business objectives
  • Management full spectrum of communications work including executing high impact Public Relations campaigns; branding; advertising and website content management;
  • Development and production of communications collaterals such as corporate videos, brochures and newsletters;
  • Preparation of press releases
  • Social media content management and engagement programmes;
  • Management of media-related activities and on-site PR support for events eg: new product launch
  • Ensure best in class delivery against all agreed plans including tracking ROI against all initiatives
  • Understand local consumer behaviour and needs and ensure those are translated into local plans, tailoring corporate initiatives to the region.

External Communications

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key media contacts to ensure regular and on-going exposure in target business and trade press
  • Leverage various media channels including print, broadcast, online and social media
  • Own relationships with local fashion/beauty media and place stories/product coverage
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with local talent (influencers, celebrities,etc)
  • Hold limited samples for press appointments and for send out for shoots
  • Manage PR moments (events, interviews) as needed

Brand & Partner Marketing:

Develop messaging and go-to-market materials to support relevant products, capabilities, solutions, etc, both existing and new

  • Oversee management of the Company’s digital assets, social media accounts, etc. Ensure content is regularly refreshed.
  • Support with retail and distributor partners across the region with communication tools
  • Planning and arrangement of marketing communication collaterals such as direct mailer, brochures etc.
  • Maintain a comprehensive suite of marketing collateral to support local needs
  • Collaborating with retail partners to secure exposure in stores such as seasonal catalogues, brochures, sampling, promotions, in-store signages, window displays and online platforms
  • Effectively plan, manage and control allocated budget to achieve optimum Return of Objectives (ROO)
  • Keeping up to date with competitor’s activities, reporting best practices
  • Assume responsibility for any ad-hoc tasks or projects as required

Requirements:

  • A University Degree preferably in Communications/PR, Mass Communications or Arts/Social Sciences and related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Communications/PR.
  • Experience in corporate and marketing communications preferably with hands-on experience in integrated communications programmes including managing social media.
  • Experience in managing PR agency as well as advertising agencies, event management companies, suppliers and vendors.
  • Flair for writing with excellent command of written and spoken English and ability to adapt to various styles of writing.
  • Analytical, resourceful, detailed and organised individual who possesses strong problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and possesses aptitude to manage with clarity, confidence and decisiveness.
  • Good team player with strong inter-personal skills.
  • Travel may be required.
