Job Description

Working Location : ALOR GAJAH, MELAKA

Salary Range : MYR 2,800 - MYR 3,200


Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures that all procurement activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner to optimize the purchasing cost of the Company
  2. To issue purchase order to suppliers, communicate to suppliers, follow up and expediting delivery with suppliers
  3. Implement proper filling system for all documentations which is related to purchasing
  4. Able to perform sourcing, negotiating and other procurement task and able to work closely with other department in performing the duty in purchasing
  5. To monitor yearly physical stocks take to ensure its accuracy with acceptable minimum % of deviation in term of quantity
  6. Other related purchasing duties assigned by directors

Requirements: 

  1. Candidate must possess a degree in Purchasing/ Procurement/ Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, or equivalent
  2. Required skill(s) ; Good computer knowledge in MS Office
  3. Required language(s) : Malay, English, Mandarin
  4. Preferable executives specializing in Purchasing/ Inventory/ Material & Warehouse management or equivalent with 2-3 years purchasing experience
  5. Abilities to work independently, dynamic, self motivated, initiative and able to communicate effectively with all levels
  6. Excellent communications and negotiation skills
