Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure sales targets and other set KPIs are met
  • Have knowledge on the brands and products to be sold
  • Manage and respond to customers’ enquiries received via phone, email, messaging and face-to-face visitation
  • Process daily sales orders and work with internal sales processing team to ensure the payments flow and delivery of orders are managed smoothly with each customer
    • Ensure payments are received by finance team before triggering process for delivery (for non-credit customers only)
    • Check and chase payments for any outstanding amounts (for credit customers only) before processing new orders 
    • Provide customers with necessary documents (including but not limited to invoices, packing lists etc) and timely information regarding stock order delivery lead times  
  • Visit the area assigned (frequency to be discussed and agreed with Head of Sales) to:
    • Provide customer service and ensure that all pre-sales/post-sales issues are resolved or triggered upwards for further action to be taken 
    • Provide updates of competitors’ activity as well as any other market feedback including new product launches, market price changes etc
    • Support any deployment, set up, checking of merchandising materials, as required
  • Channel & Customer Expansion 
    • Development of new sales leads in assigned region via cold-calling and also market visitation or any other means possible 
  • Perform administrative duties, to keep track of individual customer accounts 
    • Report on sales results on daily basis
  • Participate in trade exhibitions, events, demonstrations and other related activities as assigned by Head of Sales
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
