Reservoir Engineering analysis (Perform Reservoir Engineering analysis of technical data to evaluate reservoir performance using reservoir engineering techniques (decline curve analysis, pressure/ rate transient analysis, nodal analysis, volumetrics, material balance, natural gas reservoir engineering, reservoir fluid flow, log analysis, other)
Field/ Well performance surveillance (Proficiency in field/ well/ reservoir surveillance using self-developed/ fit-for-purpose tools and processes, as well as third party/ vendor products.
Economic analysis (Perform economic evaluations of potential development projects such as, but not limited to, drilling opportunities, workovers, facilities and field expansions, etc. Valuation of acquisition and divestment acreage and/ or interests will also be performed. Economic analysis will typically include conventional cash flow analysis with forecasting of production rates, acquiring pertinent price forecasts, capital investments, and operating costs from respective groups, and assuring the correct assumptions regarding timing, taxes, economic limit, etc.)
Project execution (Ability to identify, scope, plan, secure approval, execute, and assure projects that capture long-term stakeholder value, such as different technologies to improve well/ field/ reservoir performance, new software applications, continuous improvement in existing processes, etc. )
Collaboration (intra/ inter-discipline, Management, Field Operations, JV partners, others)
Provide corporate Reservoir Engineering assistance (reserve stewardship, bank/ financial support, forecasting, budgeting, acquisition/ divestment)
Mentoring (Provide mentoring and coaching to junior reservoir engineering staff, other disciplines, and management)
HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) (Practice good HSE habits. Comply with Safety and Asset Specialty Group HSE policies, procedures and initiatives)
