As this is a senior role we are seeking highly experienced candidates within the sector who also have relevant experience within the refinery industry
PURPOSE / ROLE
To control, direct, supervise monitor and guide the day to day application of quality management to all EPCC project activities.
To support the PMC management team and the individual EPC project management teams in achieving project quality requirements in line with customer practices and standards
To provide leadership in the development, implementation, on-going development of the EPCC quality assurance manual and quality assurance processes, procedures and general management system
KEY AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Ensuring the EPCC contract is managed and delivered to technical standards and satisfaction.
Ensuring the EPCC contract is managed and delivered to customer standards and satisfaction. Ensuring that key reports carry out their duties and responsibilities in line with their agreed contract
Ensuring that the overall design and engineering, the equipment and material supply and the construction and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the project Quality Management Programme and all necessary records are kept and auditable in the future.
PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Responsible for the overall management of the EPCC core QA/QC design group and the liaison with QA representatives from the refinery owner’s side.
The preparation, issue, revision and development of the contract quality management plan, inspection and verification strategy and assurance plans in conjunction with the project managers to ensure QA/QC personnel (including inspection, welding and NDT disciplines) are competent to perform their duties relating to the scope of work as identified in the contract.
To ensure the Quality Assurance and Quality Control group is resourced with the correct disciplines, skills, knowledge and numbers to deliver the EPCC Package Projects to the requirements of the contract.
To provide oversight on plan and co-ordination of customer /third party participation in inspection and testing at manufacturer’s facilities.
Performance of quality assurance audits on both Owner and EPC contractor management systems to check implementation of quality standards and practices. Ensure that robust quality control plans are in place for all suppliers, vendors and subcontractors
Ensure that all staff responsibilities are matched to job requirements and to verify all staff PDRs. Approve all temporary and permanent appointments for QA/QC group personnel.
Develop a good team spirit within assigned EPCC personnel and encourage team working with the Contractor and other customer groups
