They are responsible for HSE in their assigned area.
Develop positive and frequent communication with Subcontractor supervisory and HSE personnel. Controlling activities conducted by Subcontractors.
Ensure application of HSE Procedures and Safe Work Practices.
Has continues communication with Company Construction Supervisor assigned to specific area. Be constantly vigilant / observant of hazardous acts and conditions, and ensure that action is always taken when these are identified.
Develop join continues inspection with Contractor/Subcontractor Supervisors on site.
Monitor and report daily Site Conditions to HSE Engineers
Prepare daily report about findings of Plan the Work / Work the Plan
Participate in the revision and issue of WPRA
Prepare awareness meeting with subcontractor to review WPRA
Alert about any SS Act / SS Condition / NM / Deviation happened in each area.
Have control of traffic inside the Project. Including Vehicles Movement, Road Closure, diversion of road, managing security and flagmen.
Vehicle and Equipment Inspection
Managing of Road Signboards and drivers competency.
Participate proactively in TBT
Inspection and Auditing as per schedule
Coach Subcontractor about prevention and safe work practices.
Inspect welfare conditions in daily basis
Support implementations of HSE Campaigns / Recognitions & Emergency Drills.
Provide daily reports on what has been seen and done in the field.
In addition to performing activities as and when requested by the Site HSE Manager,
Be present on site as far as reasonably practicable.
Ensure that there is frequent one to one communication with the workforce in describing, explaining, etc. hazards and HSE measures.
Stop an activity where there is deemed to be imminent risk.
Skills and Qualification:
Certificate or degree in Engineering, HSE, Chemistry or Building science
Experience in Oil & Gas projects is a must.
Experienced safety supervisors only. HSE officers will not be considered
